Charming decor and spacious accommodations.
I had significant issues during my stay. First, navigating to my room was quite challenging—there were many stairs, and the lobby was dark, which was frustrating after a long travel day. I also encountered problems with breakfast. I was misled about the arrangements and ended up at a bakery that didn't cater to my schedule. This lack of clarity really put a damper on what could have been a pleasant experience.

I had an enjoyable stay at Ridolfi Guest House. The spacious accommodations offered great comfort, especially with a beautifully decorated room and a large bathroom. The owner prepared amazing breakfast every morning, making the experience feel warm and welcoming. I loved the serene location, only a 5-7 minute walk to the city center, perfect for exploring Florence. However, finding the breakfast location at the nearby café was confusing at first since we didn’t know it opened at 9 am. Also, while the cleanliness of the place stood out, our entry process was a bit tricky with the dark lobby and many steps to our room. Overall, a lovely spot that just needs a bit of clarity in breakfast arrangements.

oh dear, the reception is only manned in the morning—who even does that? And don't get me started on the breakfast fiasco. I was led to believe a food basket awaited me, only to find a bakery that opens at 9 am. One would think an upgrade or a complimentary breakfast remedy woudl ve been appropriate, but alas, I just couldn’t be satisfied.

Our family found the guest house spacious and clean, perfect for our two little ones. The owner was super kind, preparing delicious breakfast and coffee each morning. Plus, the location was just a short walk to the city center, making it easy to explore Florence.
In my wife’s opinion, the bathroom lay-out was a tad cramped for our family needs.

Our group had a great time staying at this charming spot! It was clean and comfortable, and just a short walk from the city center. We visited the train station and enjoyed various local restaurants nearby. The owner was super nice and made us delicious breakfast and coffee each morning. Highly recommend this place!
However, we did find the entry process a bit confusing. There was a dark lobby, and we had to climb many steps to get to our room, which wasn't ideal after a long day.

great location but lacks breakfast options
Our room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a beautiful traditional design that truly captured the essence of Florence. The communal kitchen was a nice touch, allowing us to prepare simple meals and enjoy a full-sized fridge in our room. The walk to the main attractions took only about 10 minutes, making it easy to explore the city and return whenever we wished. Plus, we appreciated the entry code provided before our arrival, allowing us flexibility in our check-in.
The lack of breakfast options was disappointing.

during our two nights at ridolfi guest house, we enjoyed a spacious double room and gigantic bathroom. the host was incredibly helpful and served delicious breakfast. the location is great, just a 10-15 minute walk from the duomo and near a nice park, making it perfect for sightseeing.
the only downside was the confusing entry process, especially with the dark lobby.
